Blessing Transmission is a site-specific work presenting organic and kaleidoscopic imagery intended to raise environmental consciousness. Inspired by the artist's "Energy Sculpture Series," a collection of artworks hand felted from eco-friendly natural wool, the patterns seen here were digitally generated and act as symbols to invoke resiliency for the environment and blessings for the social cohesion of our community.

Blessing Transmission is one of two artworks chosen from an open call to visually enhance the environment as Battery Park City Authority implements the South Battery Park City Resiliency Project (SPCR). The artworks were selected by jurors Natalie Kates and Sadaf Padder in coordination with leadership at Battery Park City Authority, EDC, The Battery Conservancy, and ArtBridge.
